ARGO Biz Status
Following more than 3,000 deployments were made by Nov. 2007, another goal of 4,200 Argo floats in action globally is set for additional capability in deep sea and measuring biogeochemistry.

Deployment record of the NIMS' Argo float
- · NIMS has launched 10~15 Argo floats yearly since 2001
- · Total 247 Argo floats has been deployed as of 2019 (133 for East Sea, 103 at Northeast Pacific Ocean, 8 for Yellow Sea, and 3 for South Sea)
- · 30 Argo floats are currently in operation.
